Hi, I’m Emma Skelly.
I’m a London-based singer and musician with a love for exploring lots of different styles. Over the years I’ve sung everything from classic standards on European tours with a Big Band, to solo work and a wide range of close-harmony choral music from the classical world. I’m known for being musically curious, collaborative, and bringing something fresh and unexpected to every project.
I’ve performed at venues including Cadogan Hall and the Royal Albert Hall, working as a soloist, a rock and soul vocalist, and as part of small choral ensembles. I’ve also sung at major international and Royal events, some of which were broadcast on BBC TV.
I hold a First Class Honours Degree in Performance, along with top music grades, and I’m thoroughly trained across musical theatre, jazz, rock, pop, and classical music. This gives me a strong grounding in music theory, and I’m a quick learner, confident sight-reader, and highly responsive musician. I always bring a professional, prepared, and positive approach to every job.
Alongside my session work, I also release original music as Skelly, which I write and create with my brother, Seb.
My bread and butter
Whether you’re looking for soft background vocals, jazz-inspired trio performances or even high energy belting and dancing performance, I love nothing more than working with clients and creating a vibe to suit any event.
Musican curation
I’m lucky to know and work with the best session musicians in London and so can pull together whatever line up is required
Vocal arranging
Want a specific song arranged for an event for 3-20 singers? I love nothing more than building something beautiful from a starting idea.
